The best red light therapy option is not automatically the biggest package or the highest-powered device. It is the one that can deliver the right wavelength and dose for your goal, with a schedule you can realistically follow.
Long Life Med offers full-body red and near-infrared photobiomodulation in Las Vegas. You can start with one session, choose a multi-session package or ask about home equipment. Before you decide, we help you understand what the device can deliver and what the evidence supports.
Current session and package options
A session provides access to the open full-body bed or either therapy cocoon, individual eye protection and 5–10 minutes on the full-body vibration plate. The five-session option currently provides one body-composition analysis; the ten-session option provides two. Member discounts may apply.
Since the full-body RLT & NIR bed is very powerful at almost 400 joules, sessions are quick can be as short as 5 minute, but typically around 10 minutes. The deep tissue NIR cocoon which is â…” near-infrared and a lot of 1060nm, is typically a 30-minute session that relaxes everyone that 80% of our patients fall asleep, even those who normally have trouble falling asleep.

Choose the equipment by goal—not by hype
The adjustable open treatment bed uses seven wavelength settings and a movable top panel. It can change wavelength mix, power density and positioning, with a listed maximum treatment time of about ten minutes.
The deep-tissue NIR cocoon uses a high proportion of 850 nm light plus 1060 nm LEDs and is positioned for musculoskeletal and chronic-pain goals. The multi-color cocoon combines NIR with other wavelengths for broader skin, scar, wound and recovery plans. These are equipment descriptions, not promises of a clinical result.
What makes one session different from another
A treatment dose depends on irradiance, time, distance, wavelength and body area. Two devices can both say “red light” while delivering very different energy to tissue. Read our plain-language dose guide before comparing minutes alone.
More light is not always better. PBM can show a biphasic response: too little may do nothing, while too much may reduce the desired effect. That is why your provider may adjust the device or schedule instead of simply adding time.
What to know before you buy a home device
Ask for measured irradiance at the distance you will actually use, not only the LED wattage. Check the wavelengths, treatment area, timer, warranty, return policy and eye-safety instructions. A small targeted device may be useful for one joint; a full-body panel changes both coverage and total exposure.
Long Life Med can help you compare panels, mats, masks and other PBM devices without assuming every product is medically equivalent. For the clinical overview, visit our medical red light and near-infrared therapy page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I book one session before buying a package?
Yes. A single session is the simplest way to experience the setup and discuss whether a longer plan makes sense.
Which device is best for joint pain?
Near-infrared wavelengths are often chosen for deeper musculoskeletal targets, but the condition, body area, dose and evidence should guide the decision. One label does not make a device universally best.
Can I use red light therapy every day?
Not automatically. Treatment frequency is part of the dose. Daily use may be appropriate in some protocols and excessive in others.
Do package prices include a guaranteed result?
No. Packages purchase sessions, not outcomes. Response varies, and PBM may be one part of a larger pain, recovery or metabolic-health plan.
Can I buy equipment through Long Life Med?
Yes, and these are custom-made with options typically not available in the public marketplace, and generally 20-40% cheaper. Ask the clinic about currently available PBM panels, mats, masks and targeted devices. Stock and pricing may change.
