- Warming sensation during and after the procedure (should dissipate within seconds).
- Tinnitus — the TED device produces a ringing sound that can cause ringing in the ears for a few minutes.
- Infection — very rare, but possible whenever any procedure is performed.
- Allergic reactions to the topical serum or prescribed medications.
- Erythema (redness) in the treatment area, which typically resolves in minutes to hours.
- Bruising, especially if you’ve recently taken aspirin or blood thinners.
- Blood clots in veins and lungs — rare but possible.
